Samba (SMB)
Connect a Samba/SMB shared folder to Drivebase.
Drivebase can connect to SMB shares exposed by Samba or compatible servers.
Required Configuration
You will need:
- Host: SMB server hostname or IP.
- Share: SMB share name.
- Username: SMB account username.
- Password: SMB account password.
- Domain (optional): Domain/workgroup.
- Port (optional): Defaults to
445. - Root Path (optional): Base path within the share.
Connect in Drivebase
- Open Providers.
- Click Connect Provider.
- Select Samba.
- Enter the configuration values and connect.
Notes
- Quota reporting is not provided by SMB in this integration.
- Ensure the Drivebase API host can reach your SMB server over TCP
